Join Big Game Travel as we head to Munich for the world famous Oktoberfest!!
This event is a bucket list item for nearly everyone, and our itinerary will include
enjoying the city of Munich, a visit to the inspiration of Disney’s Cinderella Castle
as well as a day trip to Salzburg--and a whole lot of beer. And that means ice cold
beer served in authentic German steins that have a smooth taste and pack quite a
punch.
The trip will start with our Welcome Lunch where you will get your first beers of
the week along with an authentic German lunch such a schnitzel and a delicious
Bavarian soft pretzel.
During the week, we will be providing food and drink during two different
sessions in hosted Oktoberfest tents. Here, you will enjoy the full experience of
all of the beer, music, and amazing atmosphere that is uniquely amazing in
Munich. At some point, we will all be standing on benches singing “Sweet
Caroline” with people from all over the world. Get your lederhosen and dirndl
ready --this is the real deal and we all want to enjoy everything we can!!!
We expect our bodies will need to dry out a bit, so you will be having a day trip to
Neuschwanstein Castle, which is the inspiration for Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
After touring this magical attraction, you will also have time to enjoy the
charming town for lunch and have time to shop for souvenirs.
We will also take a day trip to Salzburg, Austria and take a tour of the city which
includes Mozart’s birthplace as well as some classic views and European
architecture. The real highlight of Salzburg, though, will be joining The Original
Sounds of Music Tour. We will visit many of the original sites where this classic
movie was filmed, and we will sing along to the favorite songs from the movie as
we drive. We have done this tour on other occasions and it is so much fun and
everyone has a blast.
Your week will include the ideal mix of tourism and beer. And that is exactly why
