Our Upcoming International Football Travel Packages

International football travel packages take your team’s road game and turn it into an actual trip — one where the destination is as much the draw as the game itself. Instead of driving a few states over, you’re flying to London, Munich, Paris, Rio, or Mexico City for the weekend.

What Makes a Trip “International”?

These are the games your team plays outside the U.S. as part of the international schedule—the kind of matchup that only comes around once every few years for a given team. Because the game is the excuse for the trip and not the whole trip, our international packages lean further into the destination than a standard road-game package: extra time in the host city, curated group events, and an itinerary built around making the most of a place you might not otherwise visit.

Big Game Travel’s international football vacation packages bundle the game ticket, hotel, events, and on-the-ground logistics into one booking, so the only real decision is which city you want to see next.

What’s Included in an International Football Vacation Package?

Inclusions vary by trip, but international packages are typically built around:

Guaranteed Game Ticket

Base packages include upper-level seating, with upgrades available.

Hotel Accommodations

Hotel stays in the host city for the length of your trip.

Welcome & Social Events

Food and an open bar. Since there aren’t official team-hosted parties abroad, these have become the place for traveling fans to connect.

Gameday Transportation

Especially useful internationally, where rideshare and taxis can be unreliable near the venue.

Trip Leader Support

A Big Game Travel trip leader with the group throughout the trip.

Airfare & Transfers

Roundtrip airfare and transfers on packages that include air, or a land-only option if you’d rather book your own flights.

A few things worth knowing that are specific to traveling abroad: international ticketing timelines run differently than U.S. games, with tickets commonly released the week of the event rather than months out. Passport and visa costs aren’t included in package pricing, and international destinations may not offer the same level of ADA accessibility as U.S. venues. Our team can help you plan around that if accessibility is a concern.

Good to Know Before You Book Abroad

  • Make sure your passport is valid for your travel dates before booking. Passport and visa costs aren’t included in package pricing.
  • Game tickets for international matchups are often released closer to the event than domestic games; that’s normal, not a sign of a problem.
  • Luggage policy mirrors most airlines. Plan on one carry-on and one checked bag per traveler.
  • International venues may involve more walking and less U.S.-style accessibility, so build in extra time between activities if mobility is a consideration.

International Football Travel FAQs

What kinds of international football travel packages are available?

Hosted trips built around your team’s international game, currently spanning London, Munich, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and Mexico City. Each includes a mix of game access, lodging, and planned events. Check the individual trip page for exact inclusions.

What does my deposit include?

Your deposit reserves your spot on the trip and starts the planning process. It doesn’t include the full package cost. Final pricing is confirmed on your personalized invoice after the booking questionnaire.

What happens after I place a deposit?

You’ll receive a short questionnaire to collect traveler details, passport names, rooming preferences, and any upgrade requests. Once that’s back, we build your package and send your personalized invoice.

When are final trip details confirmed?

A preliminary itinerary typically goes out around 45 days before departure, with a finalized version a few weeks out. Game tickets for international matchups are often not released until the week of the event.

Can I customize my international football vacation package?

Yes, within what each trip offers—rooming type, seat upgrades, and airfare vs. land-only are the most common customizations. Let us know your preferences on the booking questionnaire.

Can I book my own flights?

Yes. Land-only packages include everything except airfare and airport transfers, so you can book or use points for your own flights and join the group once you arrive.

What if my preferred trip is sold out?

New international trips are added as they’re confirmed. Reach out and tell us which team or destination you’re hoping for so we can let you know when something opens up.
