These answers explain what happens after you reserve your spot and how payment details are handled.
I placed my trip deposit - what is next?
You'll receive a short questionnaire to collect your travel details and preferences, along with options to help us customize your experience. Once we have everything we need, we'll build your package and send over your personalized invoice.
How long does it take after I place my deposit?
The questionnaire is sent after your deposit is processed. Invoice timing depends on how quickly we receive your completed questionnaire and any custom requests, but the next step is always the same: collect your details, build the package, and send your personalized invoice.
If your travel dates are close or you have a time-sensitive request, contact us after placing your deposit.
What information do you collect after deposit?
The questionnaire helps us collect the information needed to build and confirm your trip package. Depending on the experience, this may include legal traveler names as they appear on passports or IDs, rooming preferences, flight preferences or self-booked flight details, seating or upgrade requests, mobility considerations, and activity preferences.
What is locked in by my deposit, and what is confirmed later?
Your deposit starts the reservation and planning process for the selected trip. Final package details, customizations, payment deadlines, and any optional upgrades are confirmed through your personalized invoice and trip-specific communications.
What forms of payment do you accept and when are they due?
We offer a variety of payment options to provide flexibility and help you avoid unnecessary fees. Accepted methods include Zelle, bank wire, and personal check, all at no additional cost. Credit card payments are also accepted and will include a 3.5% processing fee.

What is included in a Big Game Travel package?
Package inclusions vary by trip, but Big Game Travel packages commonly include hotel accommodations, game tickets, planned social events or activities, select transportation, and support from trip leaders. Your trip page and personalized invoice are the best places to confirm exactly what is included for your selected experience.
What is not included in my package?
Common exclusions may include personal expenses, meals and drinks outside included events, optional upgrades, travel insurance, passport or visa costs, baggage fees, and airfare or airport transfers when you choose a land-only package. Check your specific trip page and invoice for final details.
Do the parties have food and drinks included?
Absolutely. Our social events are a major highlight of the trip, bringing fans together in a unique and unforgettable setting.
Each event includes an open bar and thoughtfully curated food selections. With no official team-hosted parties abroad, our events have become the place for fans to connect and celebrate.
Can I purchase travel insurance?
Yes. While we don't provide insurance directly, we partner with a trusted third-party provider that many of our guests have used over the years with great success. We'll share those details early in the process so you can secure coverage if desired.
Where will my game tickets be, and when will I receive them?
International ticketing timelines differ from U.S. games, with tickets typically released the week of the event.
Our base packages include upper-level seating, with upgrade options available throughout the stadium. You'll be seated with your travel party based on selected ticket category, and all tickets are fully guaranteed. Delivery details will be shared as soon as tickets are distributed.
Trip Logistics
Flights, hotels, transportation, and itinerary timing

I purchased a package with airfare - when will I receive my flight confirmation?
Group airfare operates a bit differently than individual bookings. Airlines set specific ticketing dates, and all passengers are ticketed at the same time, typically 30-45 days prior to departure.
We'll share your flight schedule well in advance, and once tickets are issued, you'll be able to select seats or upgrade cabins directly through the airline.
What if I want to book my own flights?
No problem at all. Our land packages include everything in our full packages except airfare and airport transfers. Once you arrive, you'll seamlessly join the group for all planned events, tours, and experiences throughout the trip.
When will I receive my full trip itinerary?
A preliminary itinerary will be shared approximately 45 days before departure, followed by a finalized version about three weeks prior to your trip.
Will I get transportation to the game?
Yes, roundtrip transportation to and from the game is included. Many international venues can be difficult to access via rideshare or taxi, so we ensure a smooth, stress-free game day experience for all guests.
How much luggage can I pack?
Our luggage policy is similar to most airlines: one carry-on style bag and one checked bag. Coach storage is limited, so guests traveling with more than two bags may need to hold extra luggage on their lap during transfers.
When can I upgrade my game seats?
On your questionnaire form, we will ask if you'd like to upgrade. Any upgrade requests made after the questionnaire is received are not guaranteed, but we will do our best.
Trip Leaders & Group Experience
You can come solo, but you will not be on your own
Big Game Travel experiences are built around shared fan energy with support throughout the trip.
Do I need to travel with a group?
No. You will always have at least one Trip Leader, and you will be around other people who share the same fan group and interests as you. You may come solo, but you won't be alone.
Who will I sit with at the game?
Your immediate group that was booked under one name will be seated together based on selected ticket category. In some cases we are able to secure larger group seating, while in other cases guests may be distributed throughout the stadium by ticket category.
What rooming options are available for solo travelers or private rooms?
Rooming options vary by trip. If you are traveling solo and want a private room, ask about single occupancy pricing or single supplement options. If shared-room options are available, our team can explain how they work for your specific trip.
Is Big Game Travel an independent private company?
Yes, Big Game Travel is an independent private company and is not associated with any league or team.
Are there age requirements for Big Game Travel trips?
Age requirements can vary by trip, destination, and event. Some activities or venues may have age restrictions, and minors should travel with a parent or legal guardian. Contact us before booking if you are planning travel for a minor or have questions about a specific experience.
Changes, Cancellations, and Policies

What if I need to cancel or transfer my package?
We cannot issue refunds once we have received payments. We encourage clients to purchase travel insurance. If insurance is purchased, any cancellations or refund claims will be handled through that company.
If you cannot attend the trip but have someone who wants to go in your place, we will happily transfer the package when possible.
I have mobility issues - will there be any special accommodations?
We want every guest to have an incredible experience and are happy to work with you to plan accordingly.
Please note that international destinations may not offer the same level of ADA accessibility as the U.S. We provide transportation for any events more than one mile from the hotel, but some walking and independent mobility may be required. Planning for a bit of extra time between activities is recommended.
